Hacks are annoying, aren't they? What do you do when someone sticks a mic in your face and asks you a question about the Apprentice when you're busy trying to run the country? Luckily Gordon Brown's a reality show fan.

He said: "Alan Sugar is perfectly capable of making his decisions and we should support him in his decision. But generally my advice to people is to tell the truth when they are applying for jobs. Because as was found in this case, it always comes out anyway." It's Sir Alan to you, Gordo.

Andrew Johnston, the Britain's Got Talent choirboy, has been signed up by Cowell, and Faryl looks likely to be next. Even though George won, he hasn't been signed to anything yet. He doesn't sing, you see. So unless you want to buy a record of crackly background music, shuffly dancing feet and the breathy panting of a sweaty teenaged boy, you'll have to wait. Actually, I'd pay for that.

...and this picture is no stranger to the 'sharpen more' feature in Photoshop. The story's good, too. Apparently Dannii and Cheryl need to be kept apart. The Girls Aloud singer has said Dannii's had too much surgery, and the aussie is unlikely to take kindly to someone as foxy as Dannii competing for Cowell's attentions.
