Ah, Big Brother. It brings people together and tears them apart. Usually in that order - but what's this? People who were apart potentially being united by the show? It's practically unheard of. But it's in The Sun so must be true.

When bubbly Rachel Rice leaves the house she'll find a new sister waiting for her. Nicola Rice, 35, found out by chance that she and Rachel, 24, share a dad. Now Nicola can't stop watching her half sister on TV and will be getting in touch with her after the show. "I can't wait. When Rachel entered the house I thought she looked like me. She was so similar it was weird. I'm so excited about having a real-life double. I can't stop watching her. We have the same hair and eyes and she's a chatterbox like me as well."

Here's weird: Nicola found out because her partner Gary Bowen's parents live next door to an uncle she'd never met. He told them Big Brother's Rachel was his niece and that she had a sibling. They may look similar, but fate has dealt them very different hands. Rachel was a child actor appearing in films, while Nicola lived in a small council flat and now works on a burger van at Chepstow racecourse.
