Big Brother: housemates fail crisp licking task
Could this be the stupidest house so far? I mean, they're rubbish, aren't they? Or maybe Big Bro is just making its tasks too hard. Probably the first one though.
To briefly recap: the first challenge arrived when they were barely through the door - Mario and Steph had to pretend to be a 'real life couple'. They failed, and Mario's "wife" got the boot on Friday. Then there was the two-part task involving silly bodysuits. They passed the first part, but, crucially, failed the second when two of the housemates removed their costumes. But the latest thing to get us shaking our heads and saying "but that's... just... stupid!" is this 'crisp licking' challenge. And, more to the point, the housemates' attempt at it...
The Big Brother housemates have - drum roll - failed their latest task, which required them to lick hundreds of crisps. The residents all moaned, of course, as they worked through 6,250 grams of crisps. But they should perhaps think themselves lucky they were given crisps to lick. It could've been much worse. Could've been windows.
In what was very much a snack-themed version of the 'gold and silver note grab' round in the crystal maze, housemates were required to sort crisps into four different flavours by tasting them with their tongues.
Sporting hair nets and lab coats, the housemates tucked into a giant heaped bowl of salt and vinegar, cheese and onion, Worcester sauce and ready salted in the garden. Ever-sympathetic Big Brother allowed a 5% margin of error for each flavour to be in with a chance of winning an extra token.
As usual, they failed dismally. Sylvia wasn't best pleased: "How dare they? Straining my tastebuds, confusing my tongue. How dare they?" Confusing her tongue!
