Miss Brook will take over from Jennifer Ellison hosting Dirty Dancing: The Time of Your Life. In the dance talent show, eight couples throw shapes like Johnny and Baby from the awful 80s film in the hope of winning a contract with dance agency Bloc.

The show is filmed at the same location as the movie - Mountain Lake Hotel Resort in Virginia. "Dirty Dancing is one of my favourite films and I can't wait to get to Kellerman's, carry the watermelon and learn the rules of Dirty Dancing," Brook said. I'll trust you to insert your own watermelon joke at this juncture.
