Wind the windows up and put the childlocks on when you drive through Devon... I'm afraid it's really happening. This week, the first members of the Jackson clan moved into a four-bedroom rented house in Appledore, Devon.

First in are Tito and Jackie (they're the old ones) - cross them off your Jackson-spotting chart. "They seemed quite out of place walking along the seafront," a local resident ponders: "It's not every day you see a celebrity in Appledore." Well, let me know when it happens.

It's a 4-bedroomed house, right? So... four Jacksons? Alas, no. Many, many more than that. Tito and Jackie will be sharing the place with their mother Katharine, 78, Jackie's son Siggy, Tito's girlfriend Claudia Lynx, and his sons Taj, Taryll and TJ. Other Jacksons are rumoured to be en route, including Michael, Janet and Jermaine. But the thing is, with Jacksons, it's very much about the quality rather than the quantity, isn't it? Do we really give a damn about any of the Jacksons who aren't called Michael? Really?

According to rumour, the Jacksons are using the home as a base while they attempt, like some kind of insane American version of Kevin McLeod, to buy a secluded piece of land on which to build a massive glass mansion.

And obviously it's all part of a Channel 4 reality show, as we knew. Tito Jackson will be resident in the house, and other Jacksons will pop in and show their faces from time to time. Two words: Missed. Opportunity.
