Inside the Big Brother house: first pictures

bb91.jpgNine days left, guys, then it's time to take the phone-off-the-hook, draw the blinds and tuck into those tins you stockpiled after watching Threads that time. Big Brother 9 is almost upon us, and it's more set-like and eye-baffling than ever.

The beds are like something from Full Metal Jacket, the kitchen happened when Ikea and the space ship in 2001: A Space Odyssey were left alone together without contraception. And the bathroom has a gold swan for a tap. But doesn't it all look so clean?! More pictures over the jump!

Threads! That was some scary shee-it!

I'm ashamed to admit this knowledge, but I think the swan tap may be a reference to a scene from Adam Sandler's Billy Madison ("stop looking at me swan!").

Might not be, mind.

I sincerely hope you are right, and the whole series is going to be a kind of protracted, pointless tribute to the great Sandler
