I'd Do Anything, Joseph and Marias stars to appear in Les Mis

LES MISÉRABLES, the world's longest running musical, (currently playing in its 23rd year at the Queen's Theatre) has some cast changes coming up. From the 23rd of June, the part of a grown-up 'Eponine' will be taken by Nancy Sullivan (not that one!, that one), who was knocked out before reaching the final 12 on I'd Do Anything. Leanne Dobinson will play 'Cosette'. Leanne's been in Les Mis already in a different part, and was famously one of 10 hopefuls in How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria.

The elusive Cameron Macintosh finally speaks:

"It is very exciting to see new talent coming into the West End at the moment" says Cameron Mackintosh. "Thanks to Andrew Lloyd Webber and the success of BBC television programmes such as "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria" and "Any Dream Will Do," new audiences are coming to the theatre. These programmes have also helped unearth some tremendous talent, many of whom have gone on to star in many other West End productions."

Daniel Boys, smiley Joseph finalist, has been a hit in "Avenue Q" recently, and Katie Hall, who featured in early episodes of "I'd Do Anything", has been cast in "The Phantom of the Opera" - where she will have the opportunity to cover the role of 'Christine'.

Performance times for LES MISÉRABLES at the Queen's Theatre are Mondays to Saturdays at 7.30pm, with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm. Tickets, priced from £15.00 - £55.00, are available from the Queen's Theatre Box Office on 0844 482 5160. LES MISÉRABLES is now booking until April 2009.
