Singer, ice skater and sometime Reese Witherspoon lookalike Suzanne Shaw will be doing a West End turn this summer, starring as Roxie Hart in Chicago at the Cambridge Theatre from June 2nd.

Be quick though, she'll only be there for six weeks, with her run ending on July 12th. More details...

Shaw was of course "the blonde one" in "fat as butter" reality show pop group Hear'Say whose one-hit wonder "Pure and Simple" shot to No.1 in the hit parade when it was released in 2001. When their album, "Popstars" also reached the number one slot they became the only British band to have a debut single and album simultaneously top the charts. The group disbanded 18 months after forming in a haze of drugs, hookers, and offers of parts in Corrie. Let's hope playing Roxy will be pure and simple for Suzie!
