Mark Ronson signs up I'd Do Anything reject

duff.jpgLloyd Webber didn't want her, but Mark Ronson's not so fussy. The DJ and pop producer has signed I'd Do Anything regional finalist Lucy Duffield for a new girl group. After performing at the I'd Do Anything showcase, Lucy was spotted by an agent from Jayne Collins Casting, who, presumably through some sort of cartoonland/reality cross-dimensional wormhole, offered to "make her a star".

Lucy has since flown to New York to hang out with Ronson. A show source said: "Lucy thought her dream was over. Now she can't believe what is happening to her."

Here's Lucy's audition, for those that might have forgotten. What do you think? Should Ronson have stepped in or not? Should she stop singing with her mouth full?

As a journalist I think the fact that you rely on lines such as 'stop singing with her mouth full' to get readers displays a lack of talent in regards to writing articles, and a general lack of morals.

As for the girls singing I think she sounds brilliant, and her style of singing is a hopeful sign that the band wouldn't be cheesy.
