Is Gladiators reality TV? I have decided that it is. We're all agreed that the new series has a lot of work to do to match up to the pure charm of the show we grew up with, and I think for now, most of us would probably rather see the old show again than watch this new-fangled noughties version.

So I love that several individuals have hung onto video tapes of the intro sequence to every series screen in the 90s, almost as if they were waiting for Youtube to be invented. I mean, what else have you got stashed away there? Is your home stuffed, life-of-grime style, with teetering towers of tapes you're keeping - you know - "just in case"? Can you feel the power of the Gladiators? Or is it just the way you walk?
