Simple, just sack her. Oh, I don't mean it! Lovely Connie who worked in a call centre, how fond we were of her. She could cold call me any time. And if she sang "As long as he needs me" down the phone I'd probably buy anything off her (even that red dress <-- ) But, possibly as a result of moving her career into musical theatre when she should have been developing a unique model of musical telesales, things have started to fall apart a bit.

The press hasn't been great to her. There are there rumours of tickets failing to sell and criticism of Connie's McCutcheon-esque failure to appear in a significant number of the shows she'd signed up for. Even her personality's under fire, with suggestions from some quarters that she's a nasty piece of work - and murmurs that she's been sneaking around with a sound technician behind her handsome boyfriend's back, although I can't quite believe it myself.

Bonnie Langford's niece, the Hollyoaks actress Summer Strallen, is set to take over the run tomorrow. But will she fare any better?
