Coming Soon! The Choir: Boys Don't Sing

choir.jpgThe Choir, for those who missed it, was a Bafta Award-winning hit reality show about some kids in a single-sex school being taught to sing. The sequel, The Choir - Boys Don't Sing isn't, as I'd hoped, a parody of Boys Don't Cry, complete with gender-bending and Hilary Swank lookalikes, but a show about... some kids in a single-sex school being taught to sing.

It returns to BBC Two this week. It sounds like a real nail-biter of a show, as Choirmaster Gareth Malone attempts to teach choral singing in Lancaster School - a large boys school in Leicester. It explodes onto your screen on Friday 1st February, 9.00-10.00pm BBC 2.
