The love story of the century takes a new twist as Marc Bannerman is arrested and released on bail. Something to do with the row he had with that photographer where he nicked the memory card out of their camera after the couple's romantic meal was interrupted by the evil paps.

Meriel Murphy, who owns the Ship Inn, said the former Catatonia singer had been in a "distressed state" afterwards. "It was horrible because they had such a nice time in the pub" she said. "There were around 15 photographers around the car blocking them in the car park and they refused to let them out. Marc Bannerman kept his cool very well. He got out and remained polite and said: 'For God's sake, let us go' but they were just laughing and making fun."

Cerys insists it's too soon to talk about marriage. Because presumably that would be a crazy idea that only some sort of whimsical idealist with their head in the clouds would have. She's also revealed plans for the pair to learn Japanese together and jet off on safari.
