I'm a Celebrity: spiders, snakes and deadly spellings

Jb.jpgIt could be an Athena poster, eh? But I'm going off 'J' you know. It's not that he's a bad speller (I'm not that fussy). It's that he couldn't spell but claimed he could. Doesn't help your team if you're dishonest, you know mister. So here's how his head got swollen.

The former 5ive singer found a black Funnel Web spider crawling around under Janice Dickinson's bed, and took it to the Bush Telegraph. As Janice put it: "It was making its way towards my bed, the last thing I need is a huge spider bite on my arse." Oh, behave yourselves.

Gemma called J "a hero" and to Christopher Biggins he was "very brave", but J described himself, slightly confusingly, as a "superhero".

He said: "I think it's Peter Parker who is Spider-man, if so it may be now 'J' Brown."

The next task was to a spelling bee - they just had to spell 6 words correctly to win a chocolate brownie... can you guess where this is going?

"I'm very good at spelling, I've got a good command of the English language it's one of my favourite things on the planet." How do you spell "illiterate" then? "Iliterate". Oh my god. Still, I love that they included that word as part of the test.

He wasn't the only one though. Despite saying she kept dictionaries in the bathrooms all over her house and tried to learn ten new words a day, Janice managed to spell pretentious "pretenchish".

Yesterday an announcement was boomed across camp saying: "There is a snake in the camp by J’s bed, near Biggins. Please do not attempt to touch or go near the snake." Make up your own joke.
