Rumours abound that these two shouldn't be left alone in a confined space with one another before at least frisking them both for weapons. Whether they really do deeply hate each other we'll probably never know, but adding fuel to the fire of rumour today, there's speculation in The Sun that the "little leprechaun" Louis has had a subtle dig at fellow X Factor judge Simon Cowell in his new book.

Louis rather clearly suggests Simon's fame comes from discovering joke acts. “Simon’s amazing achievements include discovering Sinitta, Zig and Zag, Westlife, and Robson and Jerome.”

Zig and Zag, dude. That's gotta hurt. Sinitta used to go out with Simon, of course, and Robson and Jerome should probably have been sent to Afghanistan. But assuming Simon has a sense of humour, which looking at that list he surely must, we don't think Louis has too much to worry about. Louis's book, the bafflingly-titled Fast Track To Fame, is out next week.
