Here's a lovely picture of Strictly Come Dancing star Penny Lancaster with hubby Rod Stewart at an event the Sun describes with typical journalistic precision as "a posh ball in London". Is there anything wrong with this picture? Not known for his gargantuan stature, is he, our Rod?

Yep, clearly he's hopped up a couple of steps behind Penny in an effort to avoid disappearing into the shadows of her amazonian frame. And fair play to him. It's a weird enough picture though, isn't it? It's almost as though The Sun just photoshopped him onto the back there, so he could peep round all shy, like that little monkey thing in Pole Position.
