Yep, the American Idol judge Paul Abdul has refused to film a second series of her reality show, Hey Paula!, because it's, well, a bit too real. Paula's unhappy with the way it portrays her as an insecure diva.

The whole experience was, she says "disturbing", complaining: "They put a camera on me when I got wind that my dog was in a coma, and made it seem like it was about hair and make-up." Uh-huh.

Well, actually it's a shame this show's not getting another airing - it'd be good to see a bit more of the 'real' Ms Abdul. I've always suspected Paula's been barking up the wrong tree with her music career anyway. I reckons she has the potential to be a great comic talent. If anyone's in doubt about Paula's clowning potential, may I remind you of the time she broke her nose "tripping over her pet chihuahua".
