Dermot O'Leary tops list of most desirable

dermot.jpgDon't want to alienate the boys too much (hey I give you endless pictures of Kelly Brook, don't I?) but I have to say this is a case of the evidence supporting what we've always suspected... Dermot O'Leary is the ideal partner. Well, at least 30% ideal, which is a pass mark in our book. Our maths book. Anyway, what was I saying. Oh yes. 32% of women polled by Wedding TV, which apparently is a real channel, voted Dermot as number one partner material. There's a full list after the 'continue' button, but for now I'm wondering, as the marvellous Anna Pickard in the Guardian is also wondering, were the people polled just asked to pick from a pre-set list of men? A list which, as you'll see, includes Tony Blair? And doesn't this make these boys' desirability all a bit... relative?

The results of the the poll are:

Dermot O’Leary - 32%
Brad Pitt - 21%
David Beckham - 12%
Prince William - 9%
Gordon Brown - 5%
Paul McCartney - 5%
Frank Lampard - 4%
Chris Moyles - 4%
Tony Blair - 2%
Other - 6%

Wedding TV’s Claire Thrift said: “Brad and Becks may have the chiselled looks women love, but Dermot is a real cheeky chappie who’s not afraid to show his more sensitive side. It seems women throughout the UK have really taken him into their hearts as well as their TV sets.” It's all that crying his eyes out on live telly, isn't it. Works for us every time. Damn our soft womanly ways.
