Chanelle's new Spice Girls reality show

spice2.jpg

We're all totally psyched about the Spice Girls reunion of course, and what better way to whet the appetite than with a new VH1 show hosted by BB reject Chanelle? Chanelle will scour the country in an attempt to assemble a girl power tribute band. Some of the episodes of ‘Wannabe: Spice Girls’ will feature some classic footage of the original band's pop career.... so if you're not a Chan-fan, it could be worth a look just for that. Hey, it could be! It might not be awful. Back off OK! Just doing my job.

Anyway, if you're a dead ringer for one of the girls, you might want to know that auditions will take place in the home towns of the pop five-piece - London, Watford, Leeds and Liverpool - from October the 19th. Oh and this is to the girls who get in: can you try and look a bit less like you hate each other than the actual Spices, pictured?

Executive producer Jeremy Davies said: “We’re really looking forward to seeing the girls who grew up learning all the Spice Girls songs and iconic dance moves auditioning for our band... And with the team behind the Spice Girls’ success on hand for advice and support we’re sure our girls will do Posh, Sporty, Ginger, Scary and Baby proud!”

Wannabe: Spice Girls will premiere on November 16 on VH1.
