You know when you're look at something and you think "someone got paid to do this. It's somebody's job to do this. All day long"? Well that's happened to me three times lately. The first time when I was watching the judges sitting on their little plane, jetting off to hear the best efforts of yet another grim British town. What kind of day have you had, Sharon? I thought.

The second time I thought my god - this is someone's actual job! was when I started playing this game on The News of the World website. It's a sort of showbiz whack-a-mole, and the aim is to splat the judges with eggs. In standard flash game style, it's fun - but tricky with a track-pad. That's my excuse anyway.

The third time was when I realised that, in a funny sort of way, I was getting paid to play it. And I wondered if anyone other than reality tv bloggers ever play these things, or if we're part of closed loop of products only of interest to other bloggers.

You have two choices. Break the loop now - before it spirals out of control and destroys the universe with its own gravitational pull - and have a go at splatting a judge. Or become a reality tv blogger. You don't have to be paid to play The Eggs Factor game, but it helps.
