Hell's Kitchen: Davidson axed for homophobic slurs
Finally! Jim Davidson has got what he wanted. And what everyone else wanted. He has been booted out of Hell’s Kitchen for anti-gay slurs. The Sun reports that show bosses had words with the former Big Break presenter after he referred to homosexuals as “shirtlifters.”
Gay former Big Brother star Brian Dowling was understandably upset as Jim ranted: “You play the whole homophobic card — you are a f****** disgrace.”
A Hell's Kitchen source said: “Jim got a frosty reception from the other celebs. He wrote to producers asking to leave. But he was called into a meeting with producers and they asked HIM to leave over his comments.”
It all began on Sunday when Jim told Brian and singer Paul Young about a look he believed he got from a table of diners. Possibly believing himself to be telling a joke, Davidson said: “Why do shirtlifters pull that same face?” Brian said: “Please don’t say shirtlifters, it’s really rude.”
Jim said: “I don’t care. Gay men have the same look — some gay men have the same look.”
That look? It's the look of YOUR CONSCIENCE, Davidson. I'm not sure, though, whether he is actively homophobic or just offensively ignorant. Is he from another planet? I wouldn't rule it out. He doesn't seem to understand that things have moved on since homosexuality was a sin, a woman's place was in the home, and people were actively encouraged to black up on live tv. Things change. People change. It's life, Jim. But not as you know it.

I can't see what Jim Davidson did that was so wrong, this country has gone PC made you can't make any comment about anything or anyone without someone saying thay are offended by it, Brian and most of the others mainly the girls were against Jim from the beginning, I think they were being oldaphobic, and Jim should have complained about them.

This country is going to the dogs. It's getting to the stage where you can't call a gay man a limp-wristed pillow-biter without the PC Brigade leaping on you!
Well I for one am SICK of so-called "queerdykes" ramming their homosexuality down my throat. It's about time someone stood up to this rising torrent of gaiety by doing what every right-thinking, red-blooded English male should be doing -- haranguing 29-year-old ex-airline stewards. Hell's Kitchen? Screaming Bummers' Kitchen, more like!

I think this is a sad day for all right thinking hetrosexual men, Why should this obscene sexual behaviour be given greater importance than normal sexual conduct.
Fair play to Jim Davison I salute him as a gentleman of honour and intregity. When are we going to redress the balance in this argument and make a stand for decent morals and standards.
