Kitchen's new main man, northern lothario Marco Pierre White has refused to offer a selection of vegetarian meals at the restaurant. Instead he's filled his menu with meat dishes such as Caramelised Veal Chop, Pigeon from Bresse with Foie Gras and Braised Pigs Trotter with Morilles. There's just one veggie option on offer, the tasty-sounding starter Vinagrette of White Asparagus with Truffles.

"I don't feed vegetarians," Marco said, possibly as part of a longer list of creatures he refuses to feed - pigeons, tramps and mogwai-after-midnight among them. "We should have a duty to tell them that Marco doesn't cook for vegetarians unless they are vegetarians who eat fish." Alright, Marco, we get the point. "I don't do vegetarians full stop." Are you deaf? "I never did." Fine! We hear you. You hate vegetarians.
