Big Brother twins to release "Barbie Girl"

twins.jpg It's official: the dynamic duo have received an offer to record... that song.

"It's amazing that we could be pop stars," Amanda told the Daily Star. It certainly is. "Sam and I never thought in our wildest dreams that we'd leave Big Brother and release a record. We are dead excited that we'll be singing 'Barbie Girl'. It's one of our favourite songs."

The girls are also hoping that they will be able to release 'Jingle Bell Rock' in time for Christmas. Amanda went on: "We could get the Christmas number one with that. It would be amazing."

Promise me you're not going to buy it though, are you? Are you? Remember The Chipmunks? Have I taught you nothing?
