Big Brother star Carole Vincent is on the verge of agreeing a 100K deal with optician Specsavers, says The Star. Carole possibly has Liam to thank for the deal, as he was one of many housemates to remark on her unflattering specs - quipping "should have gone to Specsavers”.

Carole's now been offered the chance to become the face of the High Street chain, in a deal that will see Carole front a number of Specsavers ads over 12 months. The money will be a big help to the former Big Brother finalist, who admitted being on benefits after BB8.

“With this deal she’ll be sporting the best specs in Britain. She is delighted.”
