Yay Or Nay Wednesday: Has Carole turned the housemates into goody two-shoes?
So I was watching Big Brother's Little Brother last week (as I do every single night - Dermot has been even better than usual this year) and Matt Willis was the guest - the actual Matt Willis, not David. He was championing Liam for being fun and good-natured (clever man, that Busted chap) but also mentioned that Carole has perhaps had something of a negative effect on the house. Not only because she turns on people in a moment - Nicky, Gerry, Chanelle and Liam have all been on the receiving end of her sudden wrath - but also, more generally, because the housemates feel like they have to be on their best behaviour around her.
Now he's said it, I'm starting to see it. These housemates haven't been particularly naughty at any point, and certainly haven't gone in for major displays of flesh, to the extent that when Shanessa 'performed' for Brian and Liam, it felt very strange. But is this because of Carole's maternal influence, or is it just that they haven't been that sort of housemates? The twins wouldn't initiate that sort of thing, neither would Nicky, or Chanelle, or Tracey... so what do you think? Are they on their best behaviour, or acting naturally?
