Who'd have thought it, eh? The housemates are officially more intelligent than their mean and, now evidently stupid jailers, Big Brother.

Last night, BB set the housemates a challenge - to beat him in a general knowledge quiz, in return for pizza. When food was at stake, did BB really think he had a chance of winning? Well, when he's up against people who've never heard of Shakespeare and think Israq is a real country, we can't really blame him for thinking he could give it a good go...

The housemates could each ask BB a question, for which he had thirty seconds to answer. They could ask anything at all, which suggests a certain cockiness on BB's part, doesn't it? Brian took full advantage, asking for the date that Neighbours first aired on the BBC - though he let them off giving the precise day, settling instead for the month and year. BB still got it wrong though, the fools.

Later, BB asked the housemates his questions, but they were just too smart for him, what with their knowledge of Girls Aloud, and won that all important pizza.
