This week’s Big Brother viewing has been chock full of classic quotes, two of them inevitably involving Shakespeare’s nemesis Brian. That man is simply in a class of his own. Let me know if you agree or disagree below.

3. Brian wooing Amanda in his inimitable way. On day 69 of all days, after confessing he was a novice at romance, he then went on and proved it with this gem. Telling Amanda why he liked her, he chose a rather unexpected body part on which to pin his affections: “Look at your little chin. You’ve got such a sweet little chin”. Or chins, if this week’s gossip mags are to be believed. They reckon Amanda’s put on the most weight of all the housemates so far this year.

2. Sam representing the feelings of girls everywhere when trying to avoid a boyish foam and water fight with Gerry and Jonty. They were giggling and spraying things all over each other when their attentions turned to dry, pristine Sam. “Guys, I’ve had a SHOWER,” she yelped pleadingly as she tried (and failed) to look stern. Inevitably, the next second saw her covered in foam from head to toe.

1. Brian playing at being Jade. When he and Kara-Louise time-travelled back to 2002 and Big Brother 3, he whooped with joy about it being one of his favourite years with Kate and Spencer. As he squeezed through the bars separating the rich and poor sides, he couldn’t resist a quick “Am I minging?” in honour of The Goody. Ironic really, seeing as they are probably the two stupidest housemates ever to have lived.
