Had a good half hour? Hope so. That Star Stories thing is actually pretty good - borderline libelous, of course, but pretty good nonetheless.

Anyhoo, we're here for good old Big Brother. If you missed the first show, Carole and Gerry were, unsurprisingly, the two nominees with the most votes, and Gerry persuaded the gurus to vote him out. Which some did more willingly than others (*cough* Tracey *splutter*). Pop over the cut to follow his eviction interview....

10.01 - "Betrayed by the size of his brain", so says Davina. It's interesting - was he disliked because he was so up and down, snappy, and rather self-absorbed? Or was it because he clever, and unwilling to hide it - a sort of inverted snobbery?

10.04 - Gerry's spent the hour trying to make amends with his fellow housemates - actually, he's handling his eviction with a lot more decorum than I'd imagined.

10.06 - He's out - and taking the boos in good humour. Loving it, in fact, but there are a fair few cheers in there too.

10.11 - Does anyone actually watch BB's Big Mouth now Russell Brand's gone? Surely not.

10.13 - Carole got 49% of the vote, and Gerry just over 20. Fantastic - people are listening to us! Haha.

10.14 - A montage of Gerry's intellect - it definitely did isolate him, and that's a bit sad really...

10.16 - Davina's actually asked a decent question - ie whether other housemates dumb themselves down. Yes! Of course they do! When the twins or Brian actually think things through, they show that they're really not dumb, but they don't allow themselves to be clever, sometimes.

10.19 - Davina, on a bit of a role, is trying to get Gerry to say that Carole was a bit unreasonable at times, but he's not biting. I wish he would, quite honestly.

10.22 - Gerry wants the twins or Carole or win, has learnt to like himself, and finally feels accepted. Good night all round, then. Here are the best bits...
