Big Brother buggered off for the afternoon today. Stroke of genius when you think about it. It must get pretty tedious just sitting in a tiny monitor-filled booth behind the diary room camera, watching people sunbathe and drink all afternoon while you try to engineer fresh ways of making them cry. Wary of leaving them to their own devices, BB asked the housemates to nominate a replacement boss to keep a watchful eye over them.

Despite kind of hating him, the gang nominated Jonty. Big Jonty will sit in a vestibule in the house and will have the power to call housemates in to see him. Not exactly omnipotence, is it, but I suppose it might boost his self-worth. Ziggy just came out of his meeting with BJ to report "It was basically him just asking his own questions." The limits of his powers haven't been defined, but what would you do? I'd have all the competition ejected from the house. Come on J-Man, I've got money riding on you. Let's hope he was just warming up.
