Lovely story on the BB website today about an impish BB hiding packets of cigarettes in the garden. It gets more like prison in there every day, doesn't it? Does the Big Brother house get post? I'm going to send them a cake with an 'extra special extra ingredient' inside.

In a transparent attempt to assuage its guilt for encouraging the housemates' habits and exploiting their addiction for entertainment purposes, BB said: "Big Brother would like to remind housemates that smoking is not cool and will not gain you any friends." "It's not cool at all," Ziggy agreed, never one to pass up the opportunity to say the word 'cool'.

"Big Brother recommends you kick this filthy habit as soon as possible," came the disembodied voice, possibly over-egging it a bit. Liam said, "Down with smoking." Brian said, "Just say no." You can guess who had the last word, with a very serious "It's not cool though".
