What do you make of the BB8 romance?
Each Big Brother has it's own little romance. We've seen the horrendous Michelle Bass rugby tackling simpleton Stu and the even more horrific Maxwell and Saskia getting frisky. Now we've got Ziggy and Chanelle. What is different about this relationship is that it's had more downs than ups. So what do you make of it? Which side do you take?
Personally, I think they're both as annoying as each other. Ziggy, overly sincere in words and voice, but largely, a bit hapless at the 'love' thing. Being a bloke, that's all very unsurprising. Chanelle is different. She's a pawing mewing needy type unable to have a serious conversation without getting her trademark annoying voice on the go.
So where does that leave us? Well, as we all know, trying to work out someones relationship is both futile and annoying. Like the mate who, when she gets pissed, has a little drama when her fella mentions that he talked to a girl once. Or the lad who gets arsey when his good lady is getting a bit drunk and seemingly having fun. These people are a huge pain in the arse and more often than not, should be taken outside and kicked repeatedly. Ziggy and Flan-nelle are no different. Watching them squabble is neither fascinating nor intriguing. It's plain frustrating. If only you could climb inside your TV and slap them both around the head.
The only unique thing about the whole situation is that we haven't really had a messy BB break-up (say that out loud! It's fun! It's like having a stutter) before. Even though this little sixth form drama is unfolding with alarming predictability, it's strange to see two people airing dirty laundry in public. It's not gratifying... just... odd.
Throughout all this, I've tried to avoid taking sides, but recently, I've been siding with Ziggy. Why? Maybe it's because I'm a bloke and I can sometimes see where he's coming from. How about you lot? You must have different opinions to me! Tell me then!
