The US version of Big Brother starts tomorrow.

In typical American style, Big Brother US is bigger, flashier and more controversial than its UK counterpart.

For starters, all the housemates (who are referred to as HouseGuests) are revealed way before the show. Among them this year is 20 year-old Daniele Danato (left), a Hooters girl from California. No mystery as to her reason for being in the house, then. But, any hope of some 'hooters' style raunchiness may be cut short; Daniele's dad, Dick, is also in the house.

Daniele's not the only one to have someone she knows in the house. The theme for this years house is that everyone has an enemy. Someone from their life that they wouldn't want to be with for two minutes, let alone weeks and weeks. Ex-boyfriends, husbands and so on.

That's not the only twist. This year, one housemate will be nominated 'America's Player'.

No, it doesn't mean he or she will go around the house covered in the stars and stripes and singing the Star-Spangled Banner. The housemate picked as America's Player will have the chance to earn an extra financial reward (like our Liam did) by carrying out actions asked by the American viewers. This includes voting nominating certain housemates.

And if all that wasn't enough, take a look at the house. It has an Alice in Wonderland theme, with one big oversized bedroom with beds at shoulder-height, and one small bedroom with teeny tiny beds instead. Lots of chess boards too for some reason.

I'll be keeping you up to date with the goings on in the US house too. If it's good, that is. If it's just a bunch of overexcited wannabes getting their 'attitude' on I might not bother.

Back in Britland, Laura is worried that she'll be evicted because Seány was. I think we all know Laura will be evicted because she's actually quite horrible. Why do housemates always look for ways to explain being voted out? Strange people.
