Just when the housemates seemed to be getting on, this happens:

Carole: "Charley, can you wash those cups?"

Asking for disaster -- and she got it. Charley was having none of it. For the first time I have to admit I do agree with the Charlsmonster here -- why should she tidy up? If Carole is that bothered she can do them herself.

Bleh.
