The most famous birds in Britain are currently residing at Elstree Studios. Of course, I'm not referring to the vacuous girls of the Big Brother house, but rather, our feathered friends in the nearby tree tops. These birds aren't just your average birds either. They are the nations new Mary Whitehouse.

If you have ever watched the live coverage of Big Brother you will have heard the birdsong. It would seem that the producers of the show are too busy looking at their angles and thinking up new and amusing tasks to be bothered with censorship, instead, preferring to leave it to the birds of London. If someone talks about something dodgy, it is left to our avian pals. Now, with the race rows still hanging over the Big Brother house, do you think it's wise to leave such a sensitive job to a bunch of flu carrying twitters? What next?
