Like many of the Shiny blogs (the links are all down the right-hand side) we're going to be posing a question for you lovely people to ponder every Wednesday - the answer to which, you will tell us, will either be 'yay' or 'nay', but we're kinda hoping you'll expand a little... There's a couple of questions which don't really need debating (Is Charley a drama-queen, was Chanelle's wearing of Ziggy's t-shirt the most shameless bit of flirting you've ever seen, etc - I especially loved his reaction: "where are your shorts?") but I don't think people have really come to a consensus on this one. Was the all-female house a good idea?

On one hand, it was totally inspired. Girls, I think it's pretty safe to say, do act completely differently in an all female environment, and there were always going to be a few housemates who loved it and others dying for another perspective. The producers were clearly expecting a huge shift in the dynamics of the group once a man was introduced - and to some extent they've got it, though the girls don't seem to be fighting for Ziggy's attention quite as much as you imagine they'd hoped. But on the other hand...

...we currently have 12 ladies and 1 man, and presumably that's going to have to be balanced out at some point. As such, there's going to have to be a large amount of maneuvering on the part of the producers - the usual nominating system will be manipulated on various occasions. And that's the sort of thing we're tired of, isn't it? Constant intervention, constant meddling.

But what do you think? A fantastic, innovative idea, or just another gimmick that will have to sorted out in the long run? Let us know.
