Big Brother Quote of the Week: Week 2

charleymouf.gifBloody heckfire, has it only been going 2 weeks? Is it just me or does this series feel like it's been on since Christmas already?

Anyway, if you've been watching over the last week you'll have witnessed what has amounted to pretty much one long bicker. It's bickersville in there. The bickering has been so petty that often,
mid-bicker, I forget why the bicker began. And fear it will never end.

Of course, it's all great quote fodder.

The sardines task, on the other hand, wasn't. It might have been had there not been a continuous "AAAAIIIIEEEEEOOUUHHHHH!!!!" drowning everything else out, but I guess we'll never know. I think the screamers were Chanelle, Shabs and and the twins, but I'm not sure.

So to the top 3, in nail-biting reverse order:

3. Chanelle was sent into a right tizzy by Charley's behaviour pre-nominations. As Charley meticulously approached each nominator in turn to butter them up, Chanelle stormed off to the diary room. She raged that Charley should stop going up to people - especially the poor, innocent, bewildered, befuddled twins - and "joost leave them alurn. LEAVE. THEM. ALUUURN."

2. Nicky has continued to whine about most things in the house, but especially food. Her face is actually starting to resemble a frowny emoticon, so comically miserable has she become. It seems like she's even starting to annoy herself; in the diary room, following another whinge, she claimed: "I'm fun, goddammit. I AM!" She better start showing it - our poll suggests she may be running out of time...

1. The only quote of the top 3 to not have come from a diary room session, and all the more delicious for it. Charley, those eyes of napalm burning at her perceived exclusion from the "in-crowd", muttered to her lieutenant Shabnam: "I see it all. That's always been my problem." The amount of self-unawareness required for her to consider such a statement truly boggles the mind. The fact that she then went ahead and said it out loud indicates that Charley might actually be seriously demented. Which, as she seems set to remain in the compound for at least another week, bodes well for the next Quote of the Week. If anyone can make it a clean sweep, it's surely Charley. Plump up your cushions...
