OK, so... I started writing this and I was going to go all out – I was going to go with a ‘newby’ for my housemate of the week. I was going to throw the delectable title at Brian. Who I was starting to think was quite adorable...

Until.

UNTIL he uttered the words, "Charley, have you met Jodie Marsh? Have you met anyone off Hollyoaks?" And he seemed quite stable asking this.

Hmm...

Jodie. Marsh.

So with that in mind. I crossed him off my favourites for this week.

I’m torn between Ziggy and Laura.

She’s been winning herself some points mainly after her delightful argument with Charley the other night. But... I still don’t think we’ve seen her at her best. She’s the larger than life Dawn French that hasn’t hit her comedy moment yet.

So, its zigazig-aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh. Ziggy Ziggy Ziggy. Whether he’s playing a game or not, he has really come across quite well. Its probably all for show. I’m a cynic but this week he has really won me over.

Since the new meat has come into the house, he has become a little more distant – something even Gerry picked up on. He has shown quite a vulnerable side which you wouldn’t expect. And I’m not so sure it's something you can fake.

You can tell he does like Chanelle, and feels quite threatened by the new housemates. He keeps going on about the age thing but I wonder if it's actually his way of pretending not to be bothered about her when actually, he could be...

We shall see.

The thing I like about him is that he gives everyone the time of day in the house, he always has time to talk to Tracey, to Carole, to anyone. He’ll stand up for himself if he has to, he won’t be two-faced, he just gets on with it – like when he clearly and coherently argued with Emily. With an ounce of intelligence. Which was surprising.

I don’t know. It was a hard one to pick this week as to be honest no one has done anything that merited much. Except Shabnam. Thank you Shabs for leaving the house.
