Busy hour in the house (well, by Big Brother standards, anyway).

Charley has been crying. Seány gave her a bit of a cuddle and explained to Shabnam that she is just homesick. What a great reason to sod off then.

The housemates were told to assemble in the bedroom until further notice, and after being set free, they found a new task for this afternoon: Finding their masculine sides.

My immediate thought was that my afternoon would be brightened up by a spot of Sam vs Amanda wrestling. Alas, no. The the task actually involves the housemates discussing a 'manly' topic as they eat pork scratchings and drink some beer.

Then, in the task's climatic moment, one housemate must enter the diary room and take part in the ultimate masculine pursuit of putting up a shelf.

The first topic of conversation was "What's the stupidest thing you've ever done?".

Sound on the live feed had been cut for most of the hour, so if I'm being honest, I don't actually know what has gone on. At 4:34pm it looked as if Chanelle was telling a really great story -- judging by her facial expressions -- but it's hard to tell. Hmph.

After being prompted by the question "What's the best scar you've ever seen?", Carole whipped up her top to reveal where her gall bladder was removed.

Shabnam, in an attempt to be interesting, shouted "Let me talk about my scars! Let me talk!", but then dulled the occasion with an anecdote about the scar on her chin that, er, you can't actually see. She says it's made her a stronger person. What a pillock.

Another question: "Which is the hardest animal? A bear or a lion?"

A few wasted minutes were spent explaining to Greek Gerry what 'hard' meant. I don't think he got it, bless him.

This task is rubbish. No word on prizes yet, but I'm pretty sure it'll be something to do with food to prevent them all from, y'know, dying.
