All is well in the Big Brother house today. Despite a squabble earlier over shoes, Charley and Seány have managed to kiss and make up, and they've all had a nice and civilised meal together.

Speaking of meals and food, this week's task is a belter. The housemates must swim the length of the channel, Walliams-style. Starting from now, 7556 lengths of the pool must be swam by Tuesday evening.

If they succeed, housemates will have a luxury shopping budget. If they fail, it's basic rations and a grumpy Nicky all over again.

Fortunately, it's not going to be exactly like Walliam's feat, so we won't face the prospect of seeing Carole covered head to toe in goose-fat.
