Oh dear oh dear! It's shopping time.

Only basic rations for the house this week after failing the sardines task yesterday.

The shopping was surprisingly dignified, considering, but Tracey bowed out with a "Call me when it's my turn" grumble.

Nicky tried to add some influence, but it fell on deaf ears, with Laura taking charge instead, suggesting that everyone chooses what food they want separately.

"What section does brown bread come under?" asked Sam.

They needed to hurry up though, as at 12:30, they were nowhere near finished. Will Big Brother punish them if they are late? Oh I do hope so.

After retreating to the garden, Chanelle complained to the twins that no-one agreed to the shopping arrangements. Sam is worried that since everyone chose their own food, people will begin to steal each others, causing more friction.

"Are we the only clever people here?" wondered Sam (or Amanda... I'm not sure!). She may be right -- but competition is poor.

Earlier in the hour, most of the housemates were chatting in the garden.

"Guys, you're gonna miss me. You'll miss my energy," said Shabnam, who was sat on the grass.

"Yeah, I'm really gonna miss you waking me up in the night," chuckled Laura, who, with that single sentence, has become my new favourite housemate.

Ziggy has had a bit of a funny turn of late. Once the king of the female house, he has become a little more introverted.

During the shopping he was surprisingly quiet, circling the table with a disgruntled expression, shaking his head repeatedly. Proud to say he isn't part of the arguments or bitching, he has, in the last hour, spent his time bitching about all the arguing. Ziggy's as bad as the rest of them, having a moan about everything he can. "This weather's gotta sort itself out," he complained.

As for the shopping... they still haven't finished.
