As Big Brother 8 prepares for launch tonight, there are loads of rumours flying around about the identities of the housemates. But one thing’s for sure - the potential evictees won’t be getting an easy ride on this year’s Big Brother’s Big Mouth.

Series 8’s contestants are rumoured to include a cleaner and a lapdancer, the oldest contestant to enter the house so far and a child genius who could read before they were three. To spice things up, nine out of the twelve contestants entering the house tonight are apparently single.

But Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles – the first of the guest presenters to replace Russell Brand at the Big Mouth helm – has announced he “always hates everybody that goes in”. Could prove for some interesting viewing as he hosts the BBBM show this week. [Sophie Bruce]
